02 - 05 DODGE RAM INSTALLATION VIDEO

UPDATE *******UPDATE*******UPDATE

When installing this particular cap you may see that one side will go on correctly on the main portion of the dash, but the other side won't fit right or it is too tight. This is not the case. In order to allow the cap to fit properly you will need to do the following:

srt10inside

All the places where you see the red arrows need to be removed. They are held in with clips. This will allow the cap to go on with ease. Also remove the two screws from underneath the tachometer.

ramscrew

This screw is on the left side of the center radio plate. It is towards the bottom close to the glove box. This is the only screw needing removal from the center face plate surrounding the radio. The rest of the center plate is held in with clips. Be careful pulling it out.

Once you have siliconed the cap down into position, before it dries, you will then put the center plate back on. This will help to hold the cap into position. It is a tight fit, so this should help a great deal. You will also put the screws back in the tachometer piece to hold the cap into position in that area. From there you will tape according to the video we have done. Do not put any of the other parts back on until that cap has fully dried. We hope this helps you with your install a little bit more.
